About Robert

Under The Night Sky Photographing the Milky Way

Biography

I am a 22-year-old Canadian photographer, my photography takes many directions, but my passion is wildlife and nature photography. My dream is to document the beauty of the earth in the hope to protect it from destruction. As a kid and teenager, my passion for photography has taken me to amazing places around the world including the Canadian Arctic in the summer and winter, Iceland, Greenland, Svalbard, Eswatini and many more places.

My goal is not just to protect but to create a personal connection between people and the world they live in. I have won multiple photography awards including the Canadian Geographic Your Canada Photo Contest youth category winner and the Canadian Geographic 2017 Wildlife Photographer of the year youth category winner.

The majority of my work, on DSLRs, but I enjoy shooting and developing Black & White, 35mm and medium format film. I appreciate the adventure and challenge of trying to capture an Image that tells a story while also freezing a moment in time creating a memory while also creating beautiful works of art.
